Pregnancy and Misc

I think that about brings us up-to-date. I can't believe that in just 5.5 short weeks, we will be bringing home a new baby. I am so excited to see her, to smell her, to cuddle her, etc. I am SO excited to see her with her big sister. We have really been trying to prepare Hailee for the arrival of her sister. I always try to make sure that she is included when I am out getting last minute items for Britnee. She knows that Britnee is her sister, that Britnee has her own clothes. She will point to the baby things in the house and tell me that they are for "baby sister" I am so proud of her and I hope and pray that she will adjust and that she will love Britnee.

I haven't taken very many pictures of me this pregnancy. My mother-in-law has been taking care of that for me. I did take one the last time we were in Blackfoot with my camera so here is a preview. I feel a ton bigger than I probably look but I guess that is what comes with being pregnant, right?

about 33 weeks

The baby is doing well. She is growing as she should and has a very strong heart beat. She is head down (which I hope she stays that way). We have officially decided to name her Britnee Mae. I can't wait to meet her.

Other news:

Clint graduated from BYU-Idaho in April. I don't have any pictures because he chose not to walk. I am so proud of him and his accomplishments. We are still in Rexburg. He has applied to numerous jobs over the last month or so but we have yet to hear back from any of them. We hope to start hearing something from someone soon. I sure hate the waiting game. We are hoping that by the time the baby is born we will have heard something and know where we will be moving too.

Mother’s Day

Mother's Day this year was awesome. Clint took Hailee out on Saturday to get me a Mother's Day gift. They came back with a beautiful bouquet of tulips. Clint must have worked with Hailee on the way home because when she gave them to me she said, in her sweet little voice, "Happy Mother's Day", It was so special. On Sunday, I received a card and some money to do whatever I wanted with it. So fun. After church, we headed to Blackfoot. The only thing that could have made it perfect, was if my mom would have been in Blackfoot. It is days like that, that I really miss her and wish I could see her more often.

I have 2 amazing mothers: the mother who gave birth to me and the mother who took me into her home and into her heart when I married her son. My mom is the best. She is so full of self-less service and will do anything at the drop of a hat for her children. She is my best friend. I love you mom. My mother-in-law is also amazing. She not only gave birth to my husband but she has become my "other" mom. Since my parents moved to Montana, Marcene has really become my mom. I miss her when we are gone and love to sit and visit with her. She is an amazing grandmother and I am so happy that my children get to call her grandma and I get to call her "mom"

Island Park

To celebrate my mom's 50th birthday, we spent the weekend as a family at my SIL's family cabin in Island Park. It was SO much fun. This is all my mom wanted: all of her children and grandchildren together. Each family had their own room and most of us had our own bathroom. There was a loft area that the kids loved to play in. Hailee had a great time playing with her cousins and asked for them for weeks afterwards. Here are some pictures from our fun weekend:

Easter

I know that this is WAY overdue so I am going to do it now before I get any farther behind. We had a wonderful Easter. It was so nice to be able to watch General conference on Easter Sunday. We stayed in Idaho this year. During the morning session of conference we headed down to Blackfoot to spend the day with Clint's family. Before we left hailee opened her Easter basket from us. She was so excited when she saw her new shoes. She is taking after her mom and Nana, I'm afraid. We ate lunch with clint's family and hung out. Clint's mom did an Easter egg hunt with Hailee in the house since it was cold outside. It was pretty fun. She enjoyed opening the eggs and finding the "prize" in them. What a fun day we had!!

Before and After

I've recently gotten tired of growing Hailee's bangs. I decided while in Montana a couple weeks ago that we were going to cut them and give her bangs again. Isn't she so cute?

After:

Doesn't she look like an almost 2 year old now? Oh! how I love this little girl!!!
